Narrow Gate Physio is the “go-to” physio practice for dizziness, vertigo and headaches in Belmore.
While a mild headache can be irritating, persistent headaches, dizziness, or vertigo can take over your life. If you’re experiencing symptoms that last days or weeks, it can disrupt work, sleep, exercise, and even social life, leaving you feeling frustrated and drained.
At Narrow Gate Physiotherapy, we understand how these symptoms impact your day-to-day living. Our expert vestibular physiotherapists on the Northern Beaches use a thorough, evidence-based approach to assess, treat, and manage headaches, vertigo, and balance issues.
For specialised care, Rashmi Devulapalli at our Belmore clinic is the physiotherapist ideally suited to guide you through recovery and help restore your confidence and daily function.
Since 2018, we’ve been helping people reclaim their lives with effective, non-invasive treatments for headaches, dizziness, and vertigo.
At Narrow Gate Physiotherapy, we combine expert hands-on techniques with advanced assessment tools to give you high-quality care and real results.
Many headaches and episodes of dizziness are “cervicogenic,” meaning they originate from the neck. Muscle tightness, spasms, or joint restrictions in the small muscles at the base of the skull can irritate nerves and joints, creating pain, pressure, or lightheadedness. Our vestibular and neck specialists are highly trained to isolate these structures and target the exact muscles and joints causing your symptoms.
We focus first on reducing your discomfort and then work to address the root cause, providing long-term relief and strategies to prevent recurrence.

Recently had a problem with my right shoulder from training that would cause pain and tightness as sleeping or flare up this caused restriction of movement and just uncomfortable. As seeing Rashmi for physio and treatment she was quite compassionate and kind. Rashmi was able to do a through assessment which turned out to be a rotator cuff injury. From the app given itself I was given banded resistance exercise which has lessened the pain and continues to lessened with the given take home exercises. The needling itself has reduced inflammation and is less tense but healing. Rashmi was able to hear my concerns. It Reminds me to work things at caution and be safe and the work given is a journey of self care and awareness about the body and recovery. Its given greater reassurance and validation that injuries do recover with time and this is a journey of patience. The team itself are always accommodating and happy to have conversations. Thank you Rashmi and Narrow Gate team Regards Patty Kumar.Posted on Ross WalkerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My fiancé and I both saw big rig Jason for a chiropractic consult. Over the years we have both watched hundreds of neck cracking chiro videos on YouTube, but neither of us had actually ever visited a chiropractor. We were keen to see what all the fuss was about, AND BROTHER, Jason does not disappoint. He made the whole experience so fun. He is hilarious, conversational, interested in his customers as people and above everything, EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He not only has so much extensive knowledge in his field but he was also able to explain everything in a way that way easy for the everyday citizen to understand. On top of that, and more important than all the insight one gains from their session, Jason straight up delivers. No cap, Jason fixed our backs - we walked out of that session with the backs and necks of literal newborn babies - AND he gave us follow up treatment plans and exercise routines to maintain our new pain-free lives. I cannot recommend Narrow Gate Physiotherapy enough. If you want your life changed, this is your sign.Posted on Kloe CarrollTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Narrowgate Physio highly enough! I’ve been to many physiotherapy clinics, but this place is truly exceptional. Jason is absolutely amazing—his passion for his job shines through in everything he does. He genuinely cares about his patients, always checking in and making sure you’re on the right track. He goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs, making you feel valued and supported every step of the way. Recently, Rosa joined the team, and she is fantastic! She’s fun, welcoming, and instantly makes you feel comfortable. Her energy is contagious, and she adds such a positive vibe to the clinic. The entire team at Narrowgate Physio is incredible, and the facility even has a gym, which is a huge bonus. I can’t thank them enough for their dedication and care. Can We Help With Vertigo?
Vertigo is a specific type of dizziness that feels like either you or the world around you is spinning. Many people confuse it with general dizziness, but vertigo often has a clear trigger.
The most common type we see at Narrow Gate Physiotherapy is BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). This happens when small crystals in the inner ear become dislodged and need guidance to return to their correct position. Our vestibular physiotherapists have extensive experience in quickly diagnosing and treating BPPV, helping patients get rapid relief and return to normal activities.
Your first session with our vestibular and headache physiotherapists starts with a thorough assessment to pinpoint the source of your dizziness, vertigo, or headache. Even when scans or other tests have been inconclusive, our detailed examination can often identify the underlying problem.
Treatment is safe, precise, and educational—no aggressive neck cracking or risky maneuvers. You’ll leave understanding the reasons behind your symptoms and with clear guidance on how to manage them. Our goal is to help you take control of your dizziness or headache without relying on ongoing medication.
You’ll also receive a simple, accessible exercise program delivered straight to your phone. This ensures you can follow your program easily at home, without trying to remember clinic instructions or relying on stick-figure drawings.
Headaches and dizziness vary in cause, intensity, and duration. Many of these are treatable with physiotherapy, and at Narrow Gate Physiotherapy, we use specialised skills to address each type differently from most other clinics. We also work closely with GPs and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
Different Types of Headaches We Treat
Each type has different triggers and contributing factors, and our approach focuses on identifying these influences and creating a personalised treatment plan to relieve your symptoms and prevent recurrence.
Dizziness can feel like light-headedness, faintness, wooziness, giddiness, unsteadiness, off-balance sensations, or general weakness.
Vertigo is a specific type of dizziness where it feels as though you or the world around you is spinning.

Early assessment by a specialist vestibular physiotherapist ensures you receive the right care, reduces the risk of symptoms worsening, and helps you regain balance and confidence quickly.
Each of these headaches have slightly different causes. The key is in understanding what the influences are and how we can best address those. The types of headacehs are:
